Vice President tours International Airports to assess readiness for tourism re-opening
This last weekend saw the Vice President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, who is also the Minister of Health & Child Care, Hon.CGN Chiwenga and the Hon N.M Ndhlovu touring the countries International Airports to assess the readiness for the return of tourism. The tour began with R.G.Mugabe International Airport, and included JKM Nkomo in Bulawayo and Victoria Falls International Airports.
Sanitization booths have been put in place at the arrivals and departures section of the airport.
The immigration counters will be used to check for COVID 19 certification.
Private laboratory service providers who include Lancet and Genau have set up testing booths in the arrival areas. They have also pegged a 25USD charge for a rapid results tests and 70USD for a PCR test.
All passengers will have to adhere to new health protocols and guidelines put in place by the Authorities which are due to be released this week
