Mack Air and Central Air Transport Services partner to service new flight between Victoria Falls and Hwange
A new partnership between Mack Air and Central Air Transport Services (CATS) in Zimbabwe was announced late last week. Together, the organisations are launching daily operations as of April 2022 to service flights between Victoria Falls International Airport to the Hwange and surrounding areas.
In their Press Statement issued last week, Mack Air stated, "As tourism growth continues to improve across Southern Africa in a post COVID environment it is important for aviation charter and commuter companies to play an integral and catalytic role in assisting with the recovery of the regional tourism sector and the union between CATS and Mack Air is one of the ways we intend to try and be a part of the solution and further assist in uniting African countries by further bolstering tourism and conservation efforts across Southern Africa."
“CATS and Mack Air share a common vision and we aim to assist in bringing confidence back to regional safari travel and likewise open new destinations and continue to play a critical role within the southern region of Zimbabwe and Botswana and more specifically Hwange Area.” explains Michael Weyl, Managing Director
Passengers can take advantage of Mack Air's International Scheduled Flight between Kasane, Botswana and Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and with further daily flight availability to airstrips within the Hwange Area, safari enthusiasts can enjoy an effortless connection between a diverse thriving city on the banks of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, to one of the 7 natural wonders, and onwards to the elephant-filled mopane forests of the world-famous Hwange National Park.
