Zimbabwe National Lockdown extended by 14 days

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has extended the national lockdown in Zimbabwe by 14 days in an effort to the limit the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
New conditions under the extension include the mandatory wearing of masks in public places and businesses may resume operations from 8am to 3pm daily. Schools will no longer re-open on May 5 as planned however public examinations will go ahead so schools are advised to conduct virtual lessons for all pupils.
