Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust distribute 100 masks to local rural community

Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust, in collaboration with Annelies Finnaughty Weller, have disseminated 100 face masks to 40 villages (2 per village) as part of their sustainable livelihoods project.

Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust supports five Community Guardians in the rural community surrounding Victoria Falls who assist with Human Wildlife Conflict mitigation on behalf of their respective wards and villages. 

The distribution of these masks will help people protect themselves against COVID-19 when accessing water at community boreholes, grinding maize at the mill, dipping livestock and mitigating human wildlife conflict.
