Providing support to women returnees

The ongoing efforts of our amazing community of volunteers working on the "Dignity Pads Project" delivered 56 sets of hygienic, washable sanitary pads to our DMO Dr Fungai Mvula today, ready for distribution to women returnees at the Mosi oa Tunya quarantine centre.

Each set contains 6 pads, soap, a pair of pants, loving care instructions and a ziplock bag. With returnees going straight into quarantine, the "Dignity Pads Project" affords women dignity during their time in quarantine where they would not have had access to purchase necessary supplies. 

The "Dignity Pads Project" also supply rural communities in the surrounding Victoria Falls region with the hygienic pad kits.
