Nando's opens in Victoria Falls

On Thursday 26th July, Nando’s Zimbabwe, trading under Simbisa Brands, opened it's 14th Nando's branch in Zimbabwe in the majestic Victoria Falls. The launch comes at a time when Nando’s Zimbabwe is celebrating its silver jubilee in the country, after opening its first branch at Avondale in Harare 25 years ago.

Local Victoria Falls comedian, chef and entrepreneur, Carl Joshua Ncube was the master of ceremonies for the opening of the new Victoria Falls Nando's branch. "It is great to see corporate bravery during these times of adversity to inspire people by opening doors to new branches. It sends such an encouraging signal about confidence in the region", said Carl. 

Victoria Falls residents will be the biggest beneficiaries of the newly opened branch, as the Country manager for Nando’s Zimbabwe, Stephen Chamboko has declared that the branch will only employ local Victoria Falls residents.  “Nando’s Zimbabwe is positive about the outlook and we felt this was the appropriate time to prepare for the future. Sometimes, you have to invest when the chips look low." he said. 

Victoria Falls residents have certainly welcomed the move, with the recently opened Nando's being busy throughout the day.
