"Kuland" Translocated to Rehabilitation Facility

Last week Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust translocated a young female calf of questionable provenance... she looked part kudu and part eland.

The "kuland" was found on her own in Victoria Falls town and was not afraid of people. With the assistance of Zimparks, Victoria Falls Anti Poaching Unit and Zambezi Horse Safaris the young "kuland" was translocated to to the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust wildlife rehabilitation centre where she introduced her to a young bushbuck, also an orphan. She is slowly gaining weight and improving. DNA samples have been taken for species confirmation.
