Fastjet announces interim schedule changes

Fastjet Zimbabwe has announced interim changes to its schedule, following concerns around the COVID-19 resurgence and the identification of new strains.

Extended curfews in both Zimbabwe and South Africa has affected travel planning, and as a result the airline has temporarily adjusted its schedules to accommodate customers' journeys to and from airports, whilst adapting to the expected trading environment and traveller demand. This means a temporary re-timing of flights (focusing on avoiding early morning and late evening operations), consolidating flights with a later or earlier service, and a reduced frequency on some routes.

The airline advises passengers to always carry the required paperwork for travel (boarding pass, ticket and Covid PCR Test negative results) when travelling to or from the airport, and to share a copy of their planned itinerary with those collecting or dropping them off at the airport.

The Victoria Falls-Johannesburg route, primarily catering for leisure travel, will be suspended from 10th January to 16th March 2021.
