Vegetable seeds donated for "Feed Yourself: Feed Your Community" initiative

Today the Victoria Falls COVID-19 taskforce received a generous donation of 15 hectares worth of vegetable seeds which will be carefully managed to serve both urban and rural food growing projects. 3 hectares worth of seeds will go towards the urban project and the remaining 12 hectares worth of seeds will go to the rural garden project.

Dave Cooper, the nursery at Victoria Falls Hotel and the nursery at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge have all kindly offered to assist in germinating the seeds to seedlings at which point they will be moved to the prepared gardens in urban and rural areas. 

The continued collaborative efforts to ensure food security for the community in the coming months are astounding and inspiring.
