Snared wildebeest immobilized and treated

Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust working in conjunction with the anti-poaching scouts from Wild Horizons Elephant Camp have managed to immobilize and treat a wildebeest that had been caught in a wire snare. The treatment process went well and the animal is expected to make a full recovery.

A big thank you to the hard working scouts for alerting Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust to the injured animal and for assisting during the immobilization operation.
