Jafuta Foundation assists Victoria Falls Hospital with repaired and serviced motorcycles

As part of the effort to improve public health delivery in Hwange District, Jafuta Foundation managed to assist Victoria Falls hospital to repair and service 10 out 18 motorcycles to be used by the Environmental Health Officers in the Clinics to conduct the following activities :

 Covid-19 Contact Tracing
 Supervision of Burials
 TB Contact Tracing
 Disease investigations
 Courier Services (Collection of blood and other disease samples)
 Collection of water samples for water quality monitoring
 Other health related duties

 Hwange District has 20 Wards and Jafuta Foundation ideally would like to ensure each ward was provided with a working serviced motorcycle to allow health officers to conduct their work. There are currently 8 additional motorcycles awaiting service / repair. The cost to service a motorcycle is an estimated USD 80.00 so if you would like to assist please get in touch with Jafuta Foundation.
