Incredible fundraising campaign in honour of Victoria Falls legend
Mr Philip James was a legend in Victoria Falls. He was the epitome of service, having served at the Victoria Falls Hotel for over 50 years and was known and loved by all who live here. In addition, he had nurtured and trained so many in service excellence throughout his years at Victoria Falls Hotel. Phillip James unfortunately passed away in August but thanks to Malcolm Ainscough, in collaboration with world renowned wildlife photographer Graham Springer and the Jafuta Foundation, a fundraising campaign for the Children's Feeding Programme was initiated in memory of Philip James, a fitting legacy of a much loved resident of Victoria Falls.
The fundraising initiative has to date raised USD 60,000.00 which will provide an estimated 240,000 meals to the children in and around Victoria Falls over the course of the next two months.
As well as being a Jafuta Foundation Board Member, Malcom Ainscough operates the exclusive Malcolm Ainscough Collection safari organisation and over the years, many of his clients have become friends of the Victoria Falls community, and so many of them had experienced the charisma and service of Mr Philip James.
As a community, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Malcom Ainscough and Graham Springer and their supporters, as well as Jafuta Foundation for the support for the Children's Feeding Programme which provides important nutrition to our future generations.
