A new partnership between Mack Air and Central Air Transport Services (CATS) in Zimbabwe was announced late last week. Together, the organisations are launching daily operations as of April 2022 to service flights between Victoria Falls International Airport to the Hwange and surrounding areas.
In their Press Statement issued last week, Mack Air stated, “As tourism growth continues to improve across Southern Africa in a post COVID environment it is important for aviation charter and commuter companies to play an integral and catalytic role in assisting with the recovery of the regional tourism sector and the union between CATS and Mack Air is one of the ways we intend to try and be a part of the solution and further assist in uniting African countries by further bolstering tourism and conservation efforts across Southern Africa.”
