The Dignity Pads Project is a project, made up of volunteers, to make reusable sanitary pads for returnees and for women in need.
With resources and material from the Jafuta Foundation and the network of the existing Dignity Pads forum, volunteers have been engaged in Vic Falls to help sew pads.
Each pack is made up of 6 washable pads packed together in a ziplock bag.
To date they have 12 packs ready for distribution ( plus an additional 10 packs kindly donated by Pathways for Women’s Empowerment and the Girl Child Network that have already been distributed to the quarantine center), and another 15 packs ready for collection for sewing.
