Victoria Falls Anti Poaching Unit, together with the Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Management, have increased and enhanced their patrols in and around Victoria Falls to support ongoing collaborative efforts to ensure the preservation of the wildlife and habitats that make Victoria Falls such an attractive destination to visit.
These organisations have done a remarkable job and covered huge distances over the course of the last couple of months, conducting vital snare sweeps in thick vegetation, removing several snares, and have worked with Zimparks and the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust to save and rescue numerous species from snares.
Their consistent dedication to ensuring the well-being and maintenance of the biodiversity of the region is inspiring, and our heartfelt thanks go out to these incredible organisations and their rangers / scouts who are on the frontlines protecting our wildlife.
